Hi I'm Mike Kendrick from Detroit Michigan and here are a few
photos of my baby. I've told the wife that she'll leave before I
get rid of the car; LOL. All jokes aside, few women or people in
general for that fact understand the love affair between a Z-car
and it's owner. It's like when she's running right, there's
nothing on the road that can touch it. She
can squat down real low and shift her weight when you dive into
that curve; and be ready to explode out of the end for that next
straight-away. But enough about me and more about the car.

As you can see, she's a 1973 vintage 240Z. I'm
not the original owner, but I am the second owner of the car.
The guy I purchased it from, bought it new and kept it for 6
years before selling her to me in 1980; to buy of all
things, A VETTE!!! I haven't changed much on her other than the
carburation and exhaust systems. I went from the British SU's to
the Bob Sharp 4 Barrel conversion kit because I'm lazy and
didn't like trying to keep them in synch all the time. The kit
turned out to be a winner. I had the head and valve train redid
and also installed the Bob Sharp Header and muffler kit which
gives it a nice growl and a real kick in the pants when you jump
on her from the line. The engine really can breathe with this
setup. The only exterior changes I've
made have been to the front and rear fascias. As you can
probably tell, I removed both bumpers to give it that Ferrari
look. I had both fascias rounded off to give that smooth
European feel. I'm currently experiencing some electricall
problems in the engine area and will eventually replace it. The
original 4-speed trans is there but I did opt for Mulholland
shocks and struts and I beefed up both swaybars slightly. There
you have it; My Z-car, My Baby.
Isn't she sweet ?????
